How Brownington Works collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. What We Collect
When you use our calculators, we collect the data you enter (financial figures) to perform calculations. This data is used only to generate your results and is not stored long-term on our servers.
When you provide your email address, we store it to: (1) identify your access level, (2) send you confirmation emails for purchases, and (3) send occasional relevant updates if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
When you make a purchase, we collect your email address and payment information. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a transaction confirmation.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to: deliver calculator results, process and confirm purchases, manage your access to purchased reports, send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, access notifications), and improve our tools.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to process payments (Stripe) or deliver communications.
3. Cookies and Tracking
We use session storage (browser-level, not persistent) to track your current-session calculator usage. We use local storage only to remember your email address for convenience — this data stays on your device.
If Google Analytics is configured on this site, it may collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration) to help us understand how the site is used. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google Analytics.
If Google AdSense is enabled, Google may serve ads based on your browsing activity and may set cookies in accordance with Google’s own privacy policy.
4. Data Security
All connections to Brownington Works are encrypted via HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account information.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your email address and any associated purchase records by contacting us. To unsubscribe from emails, click the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
6. Children’s Privacy
Brownington Works is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
